Alex Cooper and Alix Earle feud timeline as podcast host 'calls her out'
By Melody Rivera The MIRROR
The feud between Alix Earle and Alex Cooper has reached a boiling point.
After months of speculations regarding a rift, the Call Her Daddy podcast host, 31, has officially called the TikTok influencer, 25, out on the “fake narrative she’s creating.”
Although it appears to be all bad blood now, Alix and Alex were once friends and close business partners. In fact, the influencer was one of the first members of The Unwell Network. So when did the two’s relationship unfold? Here is a look at how Alix and Alex went from a dynamic duo to bitter rivals at the center of a very public fallout.
August 2023
Alex launched her media and influencer brand The Unwell Network. On August 8, 2023, she announced Alix would be joining her creator network.
In her statement, she wrote, “Alix took the U.S. by storm with her ‘get ready with me’ videos, college lifestyle, and endearing personality. I feel honored to be at a place in my career where I can pass along knowledge and advice for a new generation of creators to flourish.”
December 2024
After a year of the two collaborating and making joint public appearances, Alix’s dad, TJ Earle, appeared on an episode of her podcast Hot Mess, where he admitted to having “hard conversations with people.”
February 2025
Just days after Alix skipped Unwell’s Super Bowl party in New Orleans, Unwell dropped Alix’s Hot Mess podcast.
The day after the news broke, a source revealed to US Weekly, “They’ve had a lot of drama between them [since] they decided to collaborate on Unwell. They clashed over business, and their friendship is over because of it.”
The source also gave an explanation to TJ’s admissions on Alix’s podcast, sharing “Alix’s dad got more involved in her business decisions and did not like what Unwell was doing. He ultimately thought it ended up not being a smart business move.”
Shortly after, Alix broke her silence on the speculations. On TikTok, she said, “There’s been a lot of chatter online this week about me and work. I also have no idea what’s going on.”
March 2025
On March 26, 2025, Alix announced she was pumping the breaks on her podcast.
“I have to put a pause on podcasting right now for the foreseeable future,” she shared. “Don’t really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can’t get into the details of it all right now, but I’ve loved it so, so much, and I’m really proud of what I built with the podcast.”
Alex then denied Unwell had any part in Alix’s decision. On TikTok, she said, “Idk why she can’t/what’s going on.”
May 2025
During an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Alix described her departure from Unwell as “a little bit of a hot mess.”
August 2025
Alix responds to a fan asking, “tell us what happened with Alex Cooper thank you,” with, “How much time do you have?”
April 2026
Alix reportedly reposts a TikTok of a woman calling Alex “awful” and the “grim reaper” as she’s “profiting off of women’s heartaches and failures.”
Alex responds, calling Alix out for her passive aggressive antics.
“Hey girl, the passive aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things—I’ve got to call you out here,” Alex said. “You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself.”
She added, “What’s the beef? ‘Cause I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other s-- going online from you. Not interested. I know what happened, and so do you. So talk. Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me. So unless you actually have something to say, I’m out, this is over, have a good Monday everyone.”
